At Zickos we have a commitment to quality and practical innovation that borders on obsessive.
Over the last 35 years we've developed an ability to work with acrylic that's unsurpassed in the drum industry. Starting with only the highest grade of 6mm (1/4") thick acrylic, our skilled craftsmen carefully hand form each shell. To ensure maximum structural integrity all shells are subjected to a stress test. Should it fail the test, we throw it out.
We also pay a lot of attention to what goes onto the drum shell. Most drum manufacturers are content to use die cast lugs. But we at Zickos machine all our lugs from top-grade stainless steel. The benefit? Enhanced resonance, greater strength, and maximum rust resistance.
Our drums not only look distinctive. They are distinctive....in every way.
